With the warmer weather approaching and lockdown restrictions finally beginning to ease, many of you will be looking forward to the Easter break as the perfect excuse to get out of the house with all the family and perhaps even finally meet up with friends! We’re lucky that in Kent, we’ve got a beautiful selection of gardens, parks and woodlands to explore – which as a photographer, I’ve been taking full advantage of lately! But soon, many more outdoor venues will be opening up their space for some Bank Holiday fun, so if you’re wondering what’s on in Kent over Easter, we’ve compiled a list of the many EGGciting opportunities available throughout the county. 

There are plenty of events on offer, whether you’re looking to take your toddler on their first Easter egg hunt, wear out the kids with EGGcellent outdoor activities, or capture your pregnancy with some springtime maternity photos. These beautiful gardens are the perfect venue for an Easter egg hunt with a difference. 2nd – 4th April

Take part in a walking trail around the blossoming fruit trees, using the trail map to find all the eggs and solve the mystery word quiz. A perfect day out for all the family to enjoy and a welcome breath of fresh air! 

Bewl Water aqua park

From 12th April

Once you’ve had your fill of Easter eggs, you can opt for an alternative way to enjoy some quality family time towards the end of the break with the reopening of https://www.bewlwateraquapark.co.uk Bewl Water’s outdoor floating Aqua Park. This unique venue is perfect for children over six years old – the fun-filled water obstacle course has everything from an ice tower to a springboard and balance beam. Kent Life heritage farm park

The farm park offers children the chance to meet a host of cuddly farmyard animals, whilst its extensive, 28-acre grounds provide plenty of room for exploring all the sights and activities the farm has to offer, including tractor rides, a historic village and pony grooming!

Easter egg hunt Leeds Castle
