How it works
A newborn photoshoot isn’t just about snapping quick pictures—it’s a carefully curated experience in my studio based in Medway.
Typically, your photography session spans between 2 to 3 hours, ensuring we have a relaxed environment that’s entirely led by your baby. This generous timeframe allows for plenty of cuddles, burping, settling, and even feeding breaks if required, making certain that your newborn photography experience is as smooth as possible.
To create a beautiful gallery of varied images, during your newborn photoshoot we will use a variety of props and backdrops, boasting a broad palette of colour options to suit every taste.
To make the newborn photography session for the whole family, I also accommodate family, sibling, and even pet portraits!
After all, we want to make sure every cherished member of your family is captured during this monumental occasion.
Viewing Your Images
After the magic of the newborn photoshoot is over, the experience doesn’t end there.
You will be invited back to the studio for a personalised viewing session where the beautifully edited images from the photoshoot await.
During this session, you’ll have the opportunity to review the images and select the package / photos you wish to purchase.
In addition, for those looking to transform their homes with heartfelt memories, we offer bespoke wall art designs.
These pieces, crafted using your chosen images from the newborn photography session, serve as a timeless reminder of these fleeting moments, gracing your living spaces with love and warmth.

It’s advisable to book your newborn photography sessions during your pregnancy. Ideally, after your 20-week scan, so we can earmark your expected month in my diary.
Once your baby arrives, simply let me know, and we’ll finalise the date for your newborn photoshoot in my studio based in Strood, Medway.
These sessions are best photographed when your newborn is between 5-21 days old.
If you’re seeking a newborn photographer after your baby’s arrival, do not hesitate to reach out.
We can discuss availability and the best approach for your session. Should your baby be older than the recommended 5-21 days, rest assured that I am still keen to capture these precious moments for you. However, the session may vary based on your baby’s age.

Hannah did a newborn shoot for our daughter and the pictures are absolutely amazing. We were in and out of the viewing within 10 minutes as we didn’t need to look twice and bought the lot!!! Baby girl didn’t want to play ball on the day of the shoot but Hannah was brilliant, so patient and calming which made the whole experience easy and relaxing! Will definitely be returning.
We took our newborn for a photoshoot with Hannah and couldn’t be happier with the photos. Hannah was helpful and professional from the moment we arrived and made us feel welcome and comfortable throughout the shoot. She was wonderful with our little girl, keeping her relaxed, which in turn did the same for us in the family shots. She didn’t rush the shoot and allowed time for feeds, changes etc (of which there were many!). We’d absolutely recommend Hannah.
My willow had a newborn shoot with Hannah when she was just over 2 weeks old. I was terrified she would not be settled or sleep through any of it but Hannah was amazing, she put me at ease and made the whole experience so enjoyable! Not to mention she was great with willow. But the best part was seeing the finished product, the pictures she captured and edited where stunning. We brought all the images and willow is already booked in for a shoot her first birthday. Wouldn’t go anywhere else.
